Muffin will sit for quite a while watching the fish.  Occasionally, she tries to catch one through the glass.  That is not her in the picture above the aquarium.  The picture caught my eye one day while shopping and it looked so much like Muffin, I had to have it.

Sleeping on top of my treadmill again! Muff, that's not how you loose weight. (One of her favorite places for a catnap.)

AND SHE COMES BEARING GIFTS...

This is Muffin, my Persian.  I know she loves me (?) because once, just as I was answering the phone, she came in from outside and dropped a salamander at my feet.  It ran to my feet for cover.  I was dancing a jig and trying to be polite and explain to the caller why I had to hang up immediately.  After I got the salamander back to safety (outside), and came back inside, she rubbed on my ankles.  I kept lying and telling her how sweet (?) she was to bring me such a wonderful (?) gift.  (I had heard about cats that do this, but I had never seen it happen.)  She was more demanding of attention than usual, after this.  You could see the pride and happiness on her face for giving me the best present ever (yea right). Well, we live in the country with a pasture of cows behind us and sugarcane across the road.  In the fall, we usually see a few small field mice and a few of those large ugly roaches.  Not the small ugly ones that you occasionally see from time to time (that is if you live in the South,  I don't know about up North.)  Sooooo, should I say more?  Yep!  One day she brought me a mouse and laid it at my feet.  Every time the ugly thing would run off, she would catch it and bring it back.  It took a while for me to get it swept out the door.  My dear sweet (%#*&@?&*@) Muffin looked all over the house for the next two hours trying to find the precious gift she had given me.  And then there were the few huge ugly tree-roaches (or whatever they are) that look big enough to carry Muffin off.

I got Muffin when she was only two months old.  She was born March 28, 1997.  She is not too accepting of Abby.  She pouts a lot.  When Abby tries to love on her, she hisses and runs away.  She is getting better, but only a little.

I will include more pictures when they are not so camera-shy.
