He Understands



Jesus now is weeping
His Heart in sorrow prays
Father Son and Spirit
All joined with Him this day

Head bowed down in sadness
What devastation done
My children now are crying
This evil has not won

For I will hold them steadfast
Pull them close to me
Let them know I love them
Such despair they share I see

Send my host of Angels
To fly down from the sky
Offering strength they need
God's Legions standing by

Comfort them and love them
With Blessings from on High
Let them know I'm with them
As day goes slowly by

Looking down from Heaven
Upon the earth with love
Sending you my comfort
With gentle softest dove.
